My name is Carrie, and today I officially launch my newly designed website for The Civil War Project (TCWP).
Since 2011, I’ve had two previous websites, but neither allowed me to grow TCWP the way I wanted to. Which brings us here.
This website, built using Webflow, finally allows me to shape The Civil War Project the way I’ve envisioned it for more than a decade. It will be a constantly growing and evolving space, and I invite you to bookmark it and return from time to time to explore new content on historical places to visit, videos, and reviews, all of which will be highlighted here.

Today is special for another reason as well: U.S. General William T. Sherman was born 209 years ago today. I’ve long found Sherman to be a fascinating and complex figure, and as I continue adding content, I hope you’ll find this website just as fascinating.
