The first episode, titled "Pilot," of the Apple TV+ miniseries "Manhunt" was...just shocking! A lot of characters were introduced, and there were a lot of tiny references and shots put in that one might not even notice on the first watch. Here's my recap for episode one. Episode two will be following later today or tomorrow.
Author's note: While the miniseries will no doubt be a great watch, I have to also recommend the book it's based on. "Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln's Killer" by James L. Swanson has been a favorite of mine since it came out. It reads like a murder mystery, and if you choose the Audible version, I prefer the version read by Richard Thomas.
