Rosemont Plantation

During our trip down south, we stopped by Rosemont (Plantation) outside of Woodville, Mississippi. This is Confederate President Jefferson Davis's boyhood & family home. Everything I looked at online regarding hours said it would be open, but as you can see from the photos, it clearly is not. We couldn't see the house or anything from the closed fence, so it was a bit of a bust. I have been to all of Abraham Lincoln's homes, and I was really trying to be fair here. Oh well, I tried my best! If you plan to visit this site, I highly recommend to call first.
